Michele’s first experience with acupuncture came after almost a decade of struggling with a health problem that conventional treatment was unable to resolve. Her first acupuncturist gave her hope and, ultimately, freedom from the physical and emotional weight of a chronic condition. During her own healing journey, Michele discovered her passion for this medicine and its approach to healing the body. She now utilizes this ancient medicine, balanced with our modern understanding of the body and disease, to help her patients reclaim their health and, by extension, their lives.

Michele graduated summa cum laude from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) after earning over 3,200 didactic and clinical hours, including treating 350+ patients. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a Masters in Literature from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. Michele lives in beautiful Alameda with her family and loves exploring by the ocean, snuggling her animals and stretching her comfort zone in pursuit of knowledge and experience.
